Our raffia bags are handcrafted from a natural fiber sourced from the raffia palm, primarily found on the west coast of Madagascar. Our partner workshop uses this fiber to dye the bag before weaving. The weaving process is not mechanized; it is done entirely by hand on traditional looms.
